On this page, "I" and "me" mean Suri Ninio Consulting LLC, an Illinois limited liability company.

These terms cover this website. They do not cover work I do for a client. That is governed by the separate written agreement signed before the work starts, and where that agreement and this page disagree, the agreement wins.

What this site is

A description of the kind of work I do, and a way to get in touch about it. Nothing here is a quote, a contract, or a promise to build any particular thing by any particular date. Prices and dates come after a conversation about your business, in writing, and only then.

Not professional advice

Nothing on this site is legal, accounting, tax, billing, or compliance advice. Rules differ by state, by industry, and by year, and you remain responsible for meeting your own obligations. If a page here describes software that produces reports, invoices, or filings, the responsibility for what you send out is still yours.

Writing to me

Sending me an email does not create a working relationship between us, and nothing you send before we have something signed is treated as confidential. Don't send confidential records to an address on a website.

What is mine

The text, layout, design, and the Suri Ninio Consulting name on this site belong to Suri Ninio Consulting LLC. Read it, link to it, quote it with attribution. Do not copy it onto another site, and do not use the name in a way that suggests I endorse you or work for you.

Software I build for a client is licensed to that client under their agreement. Nothing on this website transfers ownership of anything to anyone.

Availability

This site is provided as it is. I try to keep it up and accurate, but I do not promise it will always be reachable or free of error, and I may change or remove any part of it.

Limits

To the fullest extent the law allows, Suri Ninio Consulting LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this website, including anything you decided to do because of what you read here. This does not limit anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

Where this site links to somebody else's, I am not responsible for what is on it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of laws rules.

Changes

I may update these terms. The date at the top changes when I do, and using the site afterwards means the updated version applies.
